If you are an employer, business owner or are in control of premises, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that came into force on the 1st October 2006 states that you 'must ensure that your employees are provided with adequate safety training'. This course looks at the legislation issues, risk assessment and basic fire safety issues. The training will include evacuation procedures suitable for sleeping risks if appropriate, and additional fire safety measures such as automatic fire detection requirements.
